In this small article about senior health issues I will try to cover all the important issues regarding senior health issues. The topic of senior health issues is very vast and it is possible that what are important senior health issues from my point of view will not be necessarily from other person’s point of view. The senior persons population is increasing very fast. There is a big booming industry of senior health care. The senior health issues are an extensively discussed topic on the internet.
There is lot of statistics available regarding senior deaths. What are the causes of senior deaths? They are very easy to understand logically. Smoking is single most killer disease. This has been proved in study after study. But the tobacco industry has such a viscous grip on the lives of people that smoking continues. Avoid smoking if you want to lead a healthy senior life is the simple advice.
In this same type of bad health habits will be alcohol misuse. It is very easy to advice moderate in take of alcohol, but it is very difficult for the ordinary people to hold this line between moderate and excess alcohol intake. This is again one of the major senior health issues. It is necessary to get educated about alcohol misuse and avoid alcohol misuse completely. Avoid alcohol misuse and be healthy in your senior life.
What you eat will determine your senior health issues are a simple medical truth. The ordinary people do not bother about their food habits. They are more addicted to junk food. The under nourished diet creates a whole chin of health issues in old age. If you take proper nutrition, your more than half senior life health issues will get solved automatically. To combine with this issue will be poor exercise habits.
The modern life style does not have time for regular exercises. This makes ordinary people to live a lazy life. There is no regular exercise in the life of the modern life. These two poor health habits when combined together, give rise to host of senior health issues. If you can take nutritious diet and have regular exercises then half the battle of senior health issues is won positively.
After the age of 65 every elderly person is afflicted by some chronic disease. The major names in this list of chronic diseases are heart diseases, cancer and diabetics. The major reasons for these are of course, bad habits and poor diet and exercise habits. There are lot many web sites on internet giving you detail info about senior health issues.
